OKM Rotary was happy to donate funds to The Starbright Children's Development Centre Association (https://starbrightokanagan.ca/)

President Laurie Gaymer presented the cheque to Dr. Rhonda Nelson, Executive Director of Starbright Kelowna.

We are delighted that Starbright will be continuing this initiative, begun in 1966 as a Non-Profit Assocition, and that this valuable association will continue into the future.

OKM Rotary was delighted to add Stephen (Steve) Smith to our membership.

President Laurie Gaymer welcomes Steve who was introduced and sponsored by JD Davey and he will be a valuable member of our team.

Well done OKM Rotary!!

Instead of the usual OKM donation to a family in Kelowna Mission the President seconded by President Elect Nominee (JD Davey) motioned the club to donate to 'Kelowna Stands with Ukraine' and for the club to match individual donations.

The club voted unanimously in favour.

As a result we donated more than $7,000 towards the Ukraine supporting the purchase of 15 generators as well as much needed orphanage supplies
