Radio Days

What is Rotary Radio Days?

A donation of $250 will directly support local Rotary projects and partnerships in Kelowna. Your business will be recognized in a series of Rotary messages to be broadcast on Bell Media Radio Stations through the month of April (Rotary Month). Also, for your support you will receive a gift certificate of a $250 advertising credit for new radio advertising on the Kelowna Bell Media Radio Stations.

The Rotary Radio Days support of $250.00 will assist us to support Kelowna organizations that assist with mental health, youth and children's development, food banks, Rotary Beach and breakfast programs for 2023.
Our funding will support another handicap ramp for a local beach for people with disabilities.

WhyDo We Fundraise??

Look around Kelowna and you'll see the great work of your local Rotary clubs.
Locally we support:

	Environmental education; Support for women and children who've experienced abuse; Equipment for special needs centres; A home away from home for families experience medical challenges. Disability access to parks and beaches; The food banks;

And Nationally and Internationally we support:

	Polio Plus; the eradication of polio across the entire world; Shelterbox; the provision of emergency shelter and sustenance in disaster areas; The Ukraine in its war against annexation by Russia; Restore International; reconstructive surgery to disadvantaged children;

This year, as we recover from the many problems and restrictions of the Covid pandemic, our local charities need support from Rotary even more and with your help we're here for them.
Look around our city and you'll see the impact Rotary Clubs make here at home, and around the world. 1.2 million Rotary members are seeing solutions, not problems, providing clean water, building schools and eradicating polio.
When people like you from around the globe come together we can make good things happen.

How Can You Donate?

Our recommended procedure is to send an e-transfer to our Treasurer as follows:
mccormack.johnf@gmail.com Of course cheques can still be sent to our address at: P.O. Box 20235, RPO Towne Centre, Kelowna, BC V1Y 9H2. Your company will be recognized in a series of radio messages to be broadcast on the following Bell Media stations- Virgin Radio 99.9, Move 101.5 and AM 1150

In addition you can use the 2023 Rotary Radio Days coupon/gift certificate for your $250.00 future advertising credit!
And in addition to all this an advertisement for your company will be added to our website as a Rotary Supporter for the year! When you have your receipt for your e-transfer or cheque for your support of our Rotary programs then get in touch with Bell Media account executives to plan future advertising.
